My connection to the natural world took root early, exploring the towering redwoods along the Northern California coast and the rugged peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountains as a child. Even at young age I felt a deep connection with nature and had an inherent curiosity about the environment around me.

That sense of wonder followed me into adulthood, but it wasn't until I found myself hiking the rugged peaks of the Adirondacks in Upstate New York that I felt the urge to capture it. What began as snapping smartphone photos on mountain summits quickly evolved into a full-blown passion the day I picked up my first used DSLR. I was hooked, and I haven’t put the camera down since.

My journey has been defined by a love for exploration and documenting my adventures. After spending the majority of my adult life in New York, I spent the last few years living in Sicily with my wife, exploring the gems of Europe. We have recently relocated to Southern Maine, where the rugged coastline and deep forests feel like a perfect new chapter in our photography adventure.

Not only am I blessed to have an amazing wife, but also an incredibly talented photography partner. I can’t stress how fortunate I am to share this lifestyle with her. We spend all our free time adventuring together, cameras in hand, documenting the beauty of the outdoors. And for us, photography and conservation are deeply intertwined so we strive to create images that not only celebrate the beauty of the natural world but also inspire a desire to protect these fragile ecosystems.

I don't limit myself to a single subgenre in nature photography; I am driven by the diversity of environment itself and want to document it from as many viewpoints as possible.
